  • Unlike traditional systems where emergency backup generators may run continuously once battery storage is depleted, the AMKES system allows generators to operate intermittently. Generators run for approximately an hour to recharge the system, then turn off until more energy is needed. This cycle significantly reduces fuel consumption, improves fuel-to-electricity efficiency, and decreases maintenance and replacement costs associated with continuous generator use.
